Improv Solo Dance-Off Challenge: Your registration request for our Improv Solo Dance-Off Challenge has been received!

If you would like to guarentee your spot; please send $25.00 e-Transfer to info@vibedance.ca for the security question, please use ‘Attending City’ and for the answer ‘Kelowna’. If you would prefer to pay upon arrival (cash only), please visit the Vibe Sign-In Table located in the front lobby at the Vibe Boutique. Please note; there are limited spaces available for this event therefore all paid/completed registrations take priority.  We highly recommend sending an e-Transfer to ensure your spot is reserved to participate in this event!  Payments made on location are accepted by cash only.

The Improv Solo Dance-Off Challenge is held during our last awards session, Saturday, April 29th at approximately 9:20pm. If you are not already in that awards session for a previous performance, please check-in backstage 15 minutes prior to the start of the last award session.

How it works: Dancers have the chance to perform one at a time and will have 1 minute to showcase their performance and overall Improv dance ability. Genre and music will be chosen by The Vibe Dance Competition. Dancers will not know their genre or hear the music before they start. Our Improv champion will be chosen by our adjudicators receiving a trophy! The ability to dance Improv is a wonderful tool for dancers to possess giving them the opportunity to demonstrate their strengths, talent, personality and confidence. It is also an extremely important skill for the audition process for jobs, schools and other opportunities within the professional dance industry.
